Welcome to Rachel Carson EcoVillage!
Would you like to explore ways to bring more hope and energy to your life? Does the idea of being part of community employing sustainable living practices appeal to you? If you’d like to explore the possibility of exploring how we can make a positive difference by demonstrating the various possibilities of community in today’s fragmented and isolating world then Rachel Carson EcoVillage welcomes you!
Join us for an intro session to learn about why being a part of an ecovillage is a great way to invest in a more sustainable future! See when our next one is on our event calendar.

Rachel Carson EcoVillage is a group of individuals and families who have joined to build an extraordinary life together – the ecovillage will be a multi-generational community that includes people from as many cultures and backgrounds as possible. Click here learn more about our story and get to know some kindred spirits!
Our site is located 20 miles north of Pittsburgh in Gibsonia on Chatham University’s Eden Hall Campus, the home of the Falk School of Sustainability and Environment. Imaging of our project, as well as information about becoming a member, our upcoming events and a sneak peek are just a few ways you can learn about whether exploring our community is right for you.

We are looking for more members! You can “meet some of us” here or send us an email for more information about RCE.
